Who we are

Hi, I'm Joel Solomons

I run Solo Studios. I'm a Royal College of Music-trained saxophonist and clarinettist, and I have spent years bringing live music to weddings, parties, and events across the South West.

Based in Plymouth, I love creating sets that feel polished, personal, and full of energy. The aim is simple: keep the music flowing, read the room properly, and give guests a night they remember.

Our DJ, Jovan Allen, has over five years of experience behind the decks and was previously a house DJ at a local venue. He has performed at weddings, private parties, and corporate events.

His role is not just to play music. It is to match the energy of the room, build the night at the right pace, and make sure each part of the event feels natural.
